Norfolk Virginian Pilot Thursday March 17, 1949
Miss Beulah Heistand Shumadine, 61, died in Lynchburg yesterday at 2:05 p.m. 
She was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, the daughter of the late 
James H. and Olivia Stewart Shumadine.  Surviving are one brother, James O. 
Shumadine, of Norfolk; two aunts, Mrs. Ella Vanderberry of Norfolk and Mrs. 
H.W. Camp of Baltimore and two uncles, C.T. Shumadine and H.A. Shumadine, 
both of Norfolk.
The body will be brought to the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel, where funeral 
services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m.  Interment will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.
