Virginian Pilot March 4, 1908 

Iredell, daughter of James H. Shumadine, departed this life at the home of 
her father, 510 Colley Avenue, Monday night in the 12th year of her age.  
The funeral will be held at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery at 2 o'clock this 
afternoon.  The service will be conducted by Rev. George F. Greene, pastor 
of LeKies Memorial Methodist Church.

SHUMADINE - At the residence of her father, 510 Colley Avenue, Tuesday, 
March 3, 1908 at 12:15 a.m., IREDELL, daughter of James H. and the late 
Amanda S. Shumadine, aged 11 years, 5 months, 20 days.  The funeral will 
take place from the grave in Elmwood Cemetery THIS (Wednesday) AFTERNOON, 
March 4, at 2:30 o'clock.

The funeral of Iredell Shumadine, the interesting eleven and a half year old 
daughter of James H. Shumadine, was held at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery at 
2:30 p.m. yesterday.  The service was conducted by Rev. George F. Greene, of 
LeKies Memorial Methodist Church.
Honorary pallbearers: Thos. M. Reeves, Lloyd Partridge, John Blitz, Wesley 
Williams, James Hogwood and Garland Kight.  There was a profusion of 
beautiful floral tributes.
