Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 6, 1915

Henry D. Shumadine died yesterday afternoon at 3:55 o'clock at a local 
hospital.  He was a native of Norfolk.  His illness was of long duration.  
He leaves one daughter, Miss Louise Shumadine; two brothers, George W. and 
L.L. Shumadine and two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Williams and Mrs. James Guy.  The 
funeral notice will be given later.

SHUMADINE - At St. Vincent's Hospital, Thursday, August 5, 1915, at 3:55 
p.m., HENRY D. SHUMADINE, in the 56th year of his age.
The funeral will take place from the residence of his brother, Mr. L.L. 
Shumadine, No. 215 W. Twentieth Street, SATURDAY, August 7, at 3 p.m.  
Friends of the family respectfully invited to attend.  Interment will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
