Sidoti, 76, of the 500 block of Burleigh Ave., a retired Navy lieutenant, died June 16,1986, in his home. Mr. Sidoti, a native of Oneida, N.Y., had retired from the Navy after 24 years. He received a Special Commendation medal from President Harry S. Truman for his efforts during World War II. He formerly worked for Baker Roofing Co. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; Father Kealey Council 3548, Knights of Columbus; and the Retired Officers’ Association. Survivors include his wife, Lisbeth G. Sidoti; a daughter, Janet S. Button of Annandale; two sisters, Jean Pondilofino and Bettina DeAngelo, both of Oneonta, N.Y.; and two grandchildren. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by the Rev. Gerald Heffernan. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Infant Home.
