The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Tuesday May 10, 1927
Mrs. Martha Virginia Siebert, aged 70, died at the residence, 861 West 
Thirty-fifth street, yesterday morning at 2 o'clock. She was the wife of 
William F. Siebert and daughter of the late Edward and Eliza James Hodges, a 
native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. 
In addition to her husband Mrs. Siebert is survived by two daughters, Mrs. 
Mary S. Lawrence and Mrs. B.W. Lane; a son, W.F. Siebert, Jr., and seven 
grandchildren, all of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the funeral 
home of E. Lee Cox & Bro. 631 Westover avenue, the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, 
pastor of Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
