The Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 22, 1937

Mrs. Placit Reed Siebert, widow of Adolph E. Siebert and daughter of the late 
Joshua D. and Mrs. Mary Reed, died at
a local hospital Saturday afternoon at 5:15 o'clock.  Mrs. Siebert was a 
native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. 
Katie F. Jones, of Norfolk.  Services will be held at H.D. Oliver's Funeral 
Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with 
the Rev. Sparks W. Melton, D.D., pastor of the Freemason Street Baptist Church,
officiating.  Interment will be private in Elmwood Cemetery.
