The Virginian Pilot July 14, 1994
Jennie Mae Sills, 51, of the 1100 block of Balview Ave., died Tuesday, July 12, 
1994, in a local hospital. 
Mrs. Sills, a native of Chesterfield, S.C., and a lifelong resident of Norfolk, 
was the daughter of Willie C. and Burnett Liles. She was a former member of 
Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. 
Survivors include her parents; two daughters, Tracy and Jessica Sills; two 
sons, Eddie and Teddy Sills; one grandson, Teddy Williams, all of Norfolk; two 
sisters, Rita L. Gary of Chesapeake and G. Renae Liles of Chapel Hill, N.C.; 
three brothers, Ted Liles, Willie T. Liles and Kevin Liles, all of Norfolk; and 
a loving host of other relatives and friends. 
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 15, at 10:45 a.m. at the 
Antioch Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will 
be in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends at her home or at her 
parents' home, 1259 W. 38th St. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
