Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, February 9, 1998 
Eddie Sills Jr. of the 1200 block of Covel St. died Feb. 4, 1998, in a local
hospital.

Born in Norfolk, he was a retired carpet mechanic.

Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Sills of Norfolk; two sons, Eddie Sills III
and Teddy Sills, both of Norfolk; his mother, Ada Sills; eight sisters, Daisy
Stevenson, Maggie Banks, Audrey DeShields, Senora Turner, Sandra Fleming,
Paulette Sills, Polly Young and Gracie Spence; four brothers, Robert Sills,
Lorenzo Thompson, Wiley Sills and Larry Sills; two grandchildren; a special
friend, Audrey Calloway; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in New Hope U.C.C., Liberty St.,
Norfolk, by the Rev. James Anderson. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Hale
Funeral Home is in charge. Family and friends will assemble at 828 S. Main St.
at 11 a.m. Tuesday for the procession.
