Virginian-Pilot, 6-13-1980
NORFOLK - Samuel Silver, 74, formerly of Brandon Ave., former owner of Salvage 
Agency, Inc., died Wednesday in a Richmond hospital.

Silver, a native of New jersey, was the husband of the late Mrs. Mildred 
Eisenberg Silver.

He was a member of B'Nai Israel Congregation.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Diane Kaufman of Cranston, R.I., and 
Miss Judith Silver of Norfolk; and three brothers, David Silver of Richmond, 
and Ben Silver and Phillip Silver of Norfolk; two grandchildren.

A funeral will be held today at noon in Mikro Kodesh Cemetery by Rabbi David 
Novak. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments is handling arrangements. The family 
will be at 408 Warner Circle, Norfolk.
