Virginian Pilot April 5, 1990

Roosevelt Silvers, of the 3400 block of Mangrove Ave., died March 31, 1990, in a 
hospital.
Mr. Silvers, a native of Princess Anne County, was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Bessie D. Silvers of Norfolk; two sons, Roosevelt 
N. Silvers of Norfolk and Loronza Skinner of Portsmouth; two sisters, Helen 
Brown of Norfolk and Bessie McCoy of Virginia Beach; and three brothers, June 
Silvers of Norfolk and James Silvers and Walter L. Silvers, both of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday in Community Funeral Home, Norfolk 
Chapel, by the Rev. J.L. Kearney Sr.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  
Friends may join the family at 1348 Godfrey Ave., Norfolk.
