Simcoe. Funeral services from the residence FRIDAY AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock. ************ The announcement of the death of Mrs. Annie W. Simcoe, wife of Walter T. Simcoe, at her home 201 Bute Street yesterday morning has occasioned widespread sorrow throughout the community, where she was universally esteemed for her many ennobling traits of character. Mrs. Simcoe had been in feeble health for some time, but her death was an unexpected event and is a severe blow to her immediate family and relatives. She was well known in Portsmouth, where she resided for many years and where she drew around her friends who knew her only to love. Besides her husband she is survived by three children, her mother, one sister, and one brother. Her children are Misses Lucille and Estelle Simcoe and Walter Simcoe. Her mother is Mrs. Margaret Cofer, her sister, Mrs. Cyrus Whaley and her brother William G. Cofer.
