Norfolk Virginian-Pilot  September 23, 1939

Agricole Simi, aged 42, son of Mrs. Maria Domenica and the late Angelo Simi, 
died at a local hospital Thursday afternoon. He was a native of Italy and a 
resident of Norfolk two years. He is survived by one daughter, Miss Anna Simi, 
of Italy; two sons, Angelo L. Simi, of Norfolk and Francesco Simi, of Italy; his 
mother, Mrs. Maria Domenica Simi, of Italy; a sister, Miss Giulia Simi, of Italy 
and two brothers, Amedeo and Luigi Simi, both of Detroit.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
Colonial Avenue, this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.

Agricole Simi — Funeral services for Mr. Simi, whose death occurred Thursday, 
were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver 
Funeral Apartments, with the Rev. P. C. Blackburn, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic 
Church, officiating. The casket was covered with a cluster of gladioli and fern. 
Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were H. Perez, Tony Salvator, 
M. Perez and R. Perez.
