Edward Simmons of 897 "A" avenue died Jan. 11. Funeral services were held Jan. 
16 at Morning Glory Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. J. D. Henderson 
officiating.

Mr. Simmons, a native of Charleston SC, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nina 
Simmons; mother, Mrs. Elizabeth S. Dungee; one sister, Miss Petrinella 
Simmons; one brother, Orien Simmons of Brooklyn.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
