Alfred Simmons, 76, of 7505 Diven street, who died at his home on Dec. 13, was 
given final rites Sunday at St. Luke AME Church in Oak Grove.

Burial for the Great Bridge native was in Calvary Cemetery.  Hale Funeral Home 
was in charge.

A retired Norfolk Naval Base employee, Mr. Simmons is survived by two 
stepdaughters, Mrs. Roxie Harris and Miss Hilda D. Brown of Norfolk.
