Before illness forced her retirement, she was associated with the printing firm of Burke and Gregory. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and resided at 2309 Westminster Avenue. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Kathryn J. Murdoch; two granddaughters, Mrs. Jeanne C. Lewis and Miss Kathryn Marie Murdoch, all of Norfolk. The body was removed to the Derry-Twiford Funeral Home. ******************************************************************************* Mrs. Mary Edna Simmons — Funeral services for Mrs. Simmons, who died Thursday, were conducted at the Derry-Twiford Funeral Home yesterday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Richard Rivard, of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Pallbearers were J. H. Smith, Richard B. Morris, N. C. Renfrow, F. A. Heitmann, W. M. Lewis and R. W. Phy. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
