Norfolk - Calvin Simmons of 718 Sycamore street died recently in a hospital.

A native of Pollocksville, NC, he was a son of Augustus and Mrs. Hagar Simmons 
and the husband of the late Mrs. Bertha Simmons.

He is survived by three brothers, Jacob Simmons and Ernest Simmons  of Kinston, 
NC, and Ernest Simmons of Jamaica, Long Island, NY;  and three sisters, Mrs. 
Rebecca Jorman of Trenton NC;  Mrs. Matilda Murrell of Dover, NC, and Mrs. 
Catherine Jorman of Kinston.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.
