Norfolk - Mrs. Mary Simmons of 909 Fauquier street, who died at her home. Dec. 
18, received final rites Monday at St. James AME Zion Church, of which she was a 
member.

Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home in charge.

The Jackson, NC, native is survived by three brothers, Claude Ellis of Norfolk, 
Percy and Peter Ellis Jr. of Chesapeake.
