Her death brought grief to a host of friends, as well as the family, as she was much beloved for her beautiful Christian life. The deceased was born in England in 1829, where she lived a great many years before coming to this country. She was married to Mr. James M. Simmons in Baltimore and came to this section many years ago. She was 73 years of age and is survived by a son, Mr. George A. Simmons, three grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. The deceased was a consistent member of Memorial M.E. Church and the funeral will be conducted from the residence Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock by her pastor, Rev. W.A. Christian. The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
