NORFOLK - Alexander Simmons of 846 Goff St. died Saturday in a nursing home.

A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of the late Mrs. Bertha Simmons and a 
son of late Peter and Mrs. Laura Simmons.

He worked at Norfolk freight Terminal and retired.

He was a member of St. Paul CME Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Washington of Norfolk and Miss Ella 
Simmons of Norfolk; and five grandchildren.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.
