The Virginian-Pilot, Saturday, August 8, 1964

NORFOLK - Alexander Simmons, 59, of 821 E. Princess Anne Road died Friday in a 
hospital.

A native of Whiteville, N.C., he was husband of the late Mrs. Rhodie Simmons. He 
was a retired longshoreman.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lillie Antone of Brooklyn.

The body is at Graves Funeral Home.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral service for Alexander Simmons of 821 E. Princess Anne Road 
will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church by the Rev. C.C. 
Warren. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery with Graves Funeral Home in charge.
