B. Young, Sr., where she was making her home on Wednesday morning, Oct. 14, after an illness of three weeks. Mrs. Alston was the widow of the late Dennis Alston and for about ten years had made her home in Baltimore. The funeral was held from Grace Episcopal Church of which she had been a member for a number of years, Mr. Alston having been senior warden for years. The remains were laid to rest in West Point Cemetery. Rev. B. W. Harris, recotor of the church, conducted the funeral services both at the church and at the grave. The choir of the church rendered music. The pall bearers were: F. M. Johnson, A. O. Alston, Dr. W. T. Lovette, George S. Collins, R. G. Moseley, Alexander Wright, Jos. S.
