Norfolk - Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Celestine Simms were held Sunday, Jan.
21, at Shiloh Baptist Church. She died at a local hospital January 16 after a
short illness.

The Rev. W. L. Hamilton, pastor, delivered the eulogy.

Mrs. Simms was a native of Roanoke, VA, but had resided in Norfollk for 50
years. She was an employee of the Home Laundry for 33 years, and a member of
Shiloh Baptist Church for about 35 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edith Moore; four grandchildren and one
great grand child, and other relatives and friends.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
