Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, January 14, 1994 
Emerson S. Simpson Sr., 58, of the 200 block of W. 31st St., died Tuesday, Jan. 
11, 1994. 
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Simpson and Valerie Simpson; a son, 
Emerson S. Simpson Jr; a sister, Etta B. Coley; and two granddaughters; 
Courtney and Ashley Simpson, all of Norfolk. 
A graveside service will be held at noon today in Magnolia Cemetery. E.A. 
Hughes Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
