Norfolk Virginian Pilot Saturday September 24, 1949
Mrs. Georgiana Davidson Simpson, 33, died at a Baltimore hospital yesterday at 
3:35 a.m. following an illness of three weeks.  She was a resident of 306 Thackery 
Road, Catonsville, Md.  A native of West Plains, Mo., she was a member of Mount 
Vernon Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, W. Clyde Simpson, Jr. she is survived by her parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. Flemming Davidson, and two brothers, William H. Davidson and Henry F. 
Davidson.
The body will be forwarded to Norfolk and taken from the Cox Funeral Home to 
Elmwood Cemetery, where services will be conducted at the grave tomorrow at 2 p.m. 
by the Rev. Frank Van Dyke, pastor of Virginia Beach Methodist Church.
