Norfolk Virginian January 26, 1898

Mrs. Fannie Simpson, wife of Mr. John C. Simpson, died Monday evening at 8 
o'clock at the residence, No. 95 Walke street.  The funeral will take place this 
morning at 11 o'clock from St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Berkley.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Fannie Simpson took place yesterday from St. Paul's 
Episcopal Church.  She lived here a number of years and has a number of friends 
who lament her death.  The husband and children have a number of sympathizers in 
their sore distress.
