Norfolk Virginian Sunday July 16, 1893

T. McN. Simpson, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. John Simpson, died on Friday night 
about 6 o'clock at the Children's Sanitarium, Virginia Beach.  The funeral was 
held yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock from the residence of the child's parents, 
No. 110 Chestnut street.  Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. John C. Simpson, of Berkley, lost their 7-months-old son, Thomas 
McNider, by death at Virginia Beach Friday.  The little one was a nephew of Rev. 
T. McN. Simpson, of this city and bore that gentleman's name.  The funeral took 
place at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon from the parent's residence.
