The Virginian Pilot Friday February 8, 1985
Rudie Lee Simpson, 83, of 9323 Grove Ave., a native of Princess Anne County and 
the widower of Hazel H. Simpson, died Thursday in a hospital.
Mr. Simpson had retired from a job with Virginia Transit Co.
Survivors include a son, Rudie L. Simpson Jr. of Norfolk; two sisters, Frieda 
S. Dozier and Ruth S. Harrison, both of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; and 
a great grandchild.
The graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn 
Cemetery by the Rev. Herbert H. Smith Jr. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 
Norfolk, is in Charge.
The family will be at 756 W. Ocean View Ave.
