Rev. Dr. H.E. Johnson, pastor of Cumberland Street M.E. Church, conducted the services. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pall-bearers: Messrs. J.W. Fentress, R.W. Carter, C.W. Wilson, W.H. Brown, J.W. Beasley and A. O'Brien.
