Simpson, for many years a trucker, died last night at 7 o'clock at his residence, 232 West Thirty-sixth street. He was a native of Petersburg. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mildred Coleman Simpson; a daughter, Mrs. J.W. Jarvis, of Norfolk; and four sisters, Mrs. J.W. Down, Miss Kate E. Simpson and Mrs. R.L. Bell, all of Norfolk; and Miss Sallie H. Simpson, of Danville; and three grandchildren. Funeral announcements will be made later.
