Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark November 10, 1925

Mrs. Susie Watson Singer, aged 39, died yesterday morning at Raleigh, N.C. She was 
the wife of Phillip L. Singer and besides her husband is survived by two sisters, 
Mrs. E.A. Pitts, of Norfolk and Mrs. L.C. McCabe, of Greensboro, N.C.; her 
stepfather, J.E. Thornton, of Norfolk; two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at the home of Mrs. Pitts, 1000 
Villa Circle, at 3 o'clock, by J. Gray Reid, a member of First Church of Christ 
(Scientist). Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
