Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, April 26, 2000 
Alletta Leola Griffin-Sivells, 27, was born on June 10, 1972, in Willingboro,
N.J., the pride and joy of Margaret L. Griffin, her mother. She departed this
life on April 19, 2000, in New Haven, Conn.

Alletta graduated from Hillhouse High School and then attended Norfolk State
University where she later met her husband. She was a cashier/customer service
representative with TJ Maxx.

Alletta attended Christian Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was a member of
the Youth Choir and Junior Usher Board before leaving for school. She later
joined Bethany Baptist Church, Chesapeake.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Kevin Sivells; her mother,
Margaret Griffin; three sons, Randolph (9), Nathaniel (6), and Kevin Jr. (2);
and a lovable daughter, Karri (1).

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today at Bethany Baptist Church, Campostella
Road, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home is in
charge.
