Mrs. Mattie B. Skinner, age 64, died December 4 at her residence, 814 E. 
Princess Anne Road.  She was a member of the 2nd Calvary Baptist Church, Sons 
and Daughters of Moses No. 1, Norfolk United Order of Tents, Lane Memorial No. 
185, and the number one usher board of her church.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 9 at 2nd Calvary Baptist with the 
pastor, Rev. H. W. B. Walker officiating.

She is survived by a son, James Skinner and one daughter, Mrs. Marion Benbury of 
New York City.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick’s Funeral Service in 
charge.
