A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Eleanor J. Skinner and a son of the late Trim Skinner and Mrs. Mary W. Williams. He was retired from Little Creek Amphibious Base Officers Club. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bute Street, Eureka Lodge, Sons of Norfolk, and Excelsior Masonic Lodge 87. Besides his widow, surviving is a niece, Miss Violet Backers of Chesapeake. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church, Bute Street, by the Rev. E. Paul Simms. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
