Captain Henry E. Skinner died at his residence, Cambridge Crescent, at 12:30 o'clock this morning, aged 67 years. Captain Skinner was a member of the Virginia Pilots' Association and had been a resident of Norfolk for many years. The funeral arrangements have not been completed ************************************************************************* SKINNER - At his residence, Cambridge Crescent, Larchmont, Thursday, March 23, 1916, at 12:30 o'clock a.m., Captain HENRY E. SKINNER, aged 66 years. The funeral will take place SATURDAY, March 25, at 3 o'clock p.m. from the residence. Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Skinner took place at the residence, Cambridge Circle, Larchmont, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The services were conducted by Revs. L.B. Betty, W.H. Atwill, J.T. Whitley, S.W. Melton and E.T. Dadmun. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. The pallbearers were: C.T. Shumadine, L.O. Ayers, Dr. W.P. McDowell, W.S. Morris; from the I.O.O.F., S.D. Rhodes; from the Masons, James E. Powell; from the Virginia Pilots' Association, Captain R.C. Henley and Captain W.R. Boutwell. Among the floral tributes were: A square and compass from Norfolk Lodge No. 1, A.F. and A.M.; star and crescent from the Larchmont Guild; anchor of roses and lilies from the Virginia Pilots' Association; cluster pink carnations from the Young Peoples' Missionary Society and wreath of pink carnations from the Colonial Avenue Bible School.
