The deceased had lived here all of her life till her marriage last December and had many warm friends in this city and vicinity, having been possessed of many attractive and endearing qualities. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a sister, Miss Mary Stapleton and two brothers, Thomas and James Stapleton, all of Norfolk. The funeral occurs Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rev. Father Wareing officiating. *********************************************************************** The funeral or Mrs. Leonora Theresa Slevin, wife of Hugh Slevin, Jr., was held from the Sacred Heart Catholic church at 9:30 o'clock yesterday and was numerously attended. Requiem mass was celebrated by Rev. Father James F. Wareing, during which Miss Rosa Smith sang, "Lead Kindly Light.” There was a wealth of beautiful floral tributes attesting the love and esteem in which the deceased was held. The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary’s cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: James E. Barry, Raymond Eastwood, Emmett Hogan, Thomas Starkey, Benjamin Joynes, Dr. Harry Seelinger, Steve Seelinger and Michael Stubbs.
