Proctor, died at the Retreat for the Sick in Norfolk Sunday morning at 11:30 o'clock, after a lingering illness. She was 53 years of age and had only been in this town for a few weeks, she having gone to the Retreat in hopes of regaining her health some weeks ago. Her funeral took place from St. Thomas' P.E. Church yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. James R. Hubard, D.D. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Capt. M.C. Keeling, R.A. Roach, J.C. Rodgers, S.J. Smith, Sr., J.J. Ottley and Judge Geo. D. Parker. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery.
