He is survived by a sister, Miss Mary E. Smiley, of Norfolk and a brother, Charles D. Smiley, of St. Louis. Mr. Smiley was the son of the late James and Elizabeth Hallowell Smiley, of this city. ******************************************************* The funeral of Walter Forbes Smiley will be held Thursday at 12 o'clock at the residence, 504 Colonial Avenue, and will be conducted by Rev. H.H. Covington, of St. Paul's Church and Rev. Stuart Nye Hutchinson of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Elmwood.
