NORFOLK – Lena Meloni Smith, 78, of the 700 block of Shirley Ave., died Dec. 10, 
1987, in a hospital.
Mrs. Smith, a native of Italy, was a Catholic.
Suvivors include her husband, Carr Smith and a brother, Teddy Meloni of 
Chesapeake.
The graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary’s Catholic 
Cemetery by the Rev. John J. Dorgan.
H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
