VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Ruth W. Smith, 86, of 812 Neptune Ave., the widow of Fred 
Smith and a native of Norfolk, died Thursday in a nursing home.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Madge Traylor of Norfolk and Mrs. Ruth W. 
Ullrich of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
All funeral services will be private with Kellum Funeral Home in charge. The 
family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the building fund of St. 
Matthew’s Catholic Church.
