Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark February 1, 1915

C. Reginald Smith, only son of Cosmas F. Smith, died suddenly yesterday morning 
at the  residence, 423 Olney Road. Mr. Smith had lived in Norfolk all his life 
and had held a responsible position with the Norfolk branch of the Virginia-
Carolina Chemical Company for the past ten years and up to the time of his 
death. The young man's sudden and untimely end was a great shock to his family 
and friends. His father and sister, Miss Lucia Smith, survive him. The funeral 
will take place Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the residence, Rev. Father 
Halblieb of Sacred Heart Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.

o’clock m., C. REGINALD, son of Cosmas F. and the late Mary Devereaux Smith.
Funeral services at the residence TUESDAY MORNING at 10:30 o’clock. Interment 
private.
