Virginian Pilot March 5, 1958

Mrs. Cleo Farley Smith, 54, wife of Bernard C. Smith and daughter of the late 
Frank and Mrs. Agnes Browne Farley, died yesterday at 12:45 a.m. at the Virginia 
Beach Hospital.
Mrs. Smith was a native of Portsmouth and a lifelong resident of this section, 
residing at 327 Cavalier Drive, Virginia Beach, at the time of her death. 
Surviving, besides her husband, are one son, Vincent Niemeyer of New York, N.Y.; 
one daughter, ................delphia, Pa. and five grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for funeral services Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery. Friends have been requested by the family to omit flowers and 
contribute instead to the American Cancer Society. Rosary services will be 
conducted at the funeral apartments tonight at 7:30.
