Norfolk Journal and Guide,Feb 7,1948
Charles Smith - Funeral services for Mr. Smith, who died Feb. 1 in a local
hospital, were conducted Tuesday, Feb. 3 in First Baptist Church, Bute street,
at 3 p.m. with the Rev. R. H. Bowling, pastor, officiating.
He is survived by one son, Willie Smith; one daughter,Mrs. Hattie Terry and
other relatives. Interment was in West Point Cemetery. Riddick Funeral Home had
charge of arrangements.
