Mrs. Melissa Smith - Funeral services for Mrs. Smith, who resided at 812
Alleghany street and died June 24 at her residence after a short illness, were
held June 28 at Mt. Zion AME Church with the Rev. P. L. Harvey, officiating. 
Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Fitchett’s Funeral Home directing.
