Norfolk Ledger Dispatch November 14, 1932

Ernest Bernard Smith, 62, son of the late Peter and Mary C. Smith, died at a 
Baltimore sanatorium yesterday at 2:20 p.m. Mr. Smith was a native and well 
known resident of Norfolk and was a graduate of Georgetown University.
He is survived by three sisters, the Misses Mary M., Constance A. and Rosa E. 
Smith; three brothers, Clarence J., E. Vincent and Antonio J. Smith, all of 
Norfolk; a nephew, Xavier Martin Smith; a niece, Dorothy M. Smith, both of Los 
Angeles, Cal., children of his deceased brother, Peter Xavier Smith.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

at 2:20 o’clock p. m., ERNEST BERNARD, son of the late Peter and Mary C. Smith, 
in the sixty-third year of his age. Remains will be taken from the residence, 
No. 333 West Freemason street (Norfolk, Va.), to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for 
funeral services THIS (Wednesday) MORNING at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family 
are invited to attend. Interment private, St. Mary’s Cemetery. Please omit 
flowers.
