Norfolk Ledger Dispatch May 27, 1933

Mrs. Ellen J. Smith, 62, wife of Joseph Smith; died last night at 9:15 o'clock 
at her residence, 1019 West Ocean View Avenue, Willoughby. A native of Ireland, 
Mrs. Smith had been a resident of this country for 43 years and had lived in 
Norfolk for 25 years. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sisters and 
two brothers residing in Ireland and two nephews in New York.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, 
Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Ellen J. Smith - Funeral services for Mrs. Smith, wife of Joseph Smith, 
whose death occurred Friday night at the residence, 1019 West Ocean View Avenue, 
will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ocean View, this morning at 10 
o’clock. 
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
