Funeral services for Walter Smith, 61, 765 Avenue A, who died in a local 
hospital on September 9, were held at St. Paul CME Church on September 12. The 
Rev. W. A. McEwan officiated. Surviving are three sons and four daughters. 
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
