Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - November 6, 1990

Walter Smith, of the 300 block of E. Olney Road, a retired laborer, died Oct. 
29, 1990, in a nursing home.
Mr. Smith, a native of South Hill, Va., was a member of Free Union Baptist 
Church, Mecklenburg County, Va.
Survivors include a sister, Mildred Flichman of Philadelphia; and a brother, 
Nathan Smith of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Graves Funeral Home by 
the Rev. J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may join 
the family at the residence.
