Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, May 17, 1991 
Ernest Anthony ``Doc'' Smith of the 3200 block of Bapaume Ave., died May 14,
1991, in a hospital.

Mr. Smith, a Norfolk native, was a member of Faith Deliverance Christian Center.

Survivors include a daughter, Nefertere E. Thorn of Norfolk; his parents,
Mattielene O. Smith and Ernest L. Smith of Norfolk; three sisters, Michele S.
Rodgers and Monet Smith, both of Norfolk, and Sherry Kelley of Virginia Beach;
and paternal grandparents, Louvrina Parker of Norfolk and Herbert Smith of
Chesapeake.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Faith Deliverance Christian
Center by the Rev. Barbara M. Amos. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery .
Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
