Mrs. Beulah Smith, of 911 Sheldon avenue, died July 9 at her residence following 
a short illness.  Funeral rites were conducted at 1:30 p.m. July 14 at Antioch 
Baptist Church with the Rev. J. W. Matthews officiating.

Mrs. Smith was a member of the senior choir and active in church work.  She is 
survived by her husband, Albert Smith;  her mother, Mrs. Roxie Davis;  her 
stepfather, George Davis;  and several nieces.  Burial was in the family plot at 
Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
