The Daily Progress, Charlottesville, VA, 26 Feb 1915


Mr. William Edward Smith, aged 75 years died at 6 o’clock last evening at the 
residence of his daughter, Mrs. J. E. Wilkins of Locust Grove.
The body will be taken tomorrow to Norfolk, where the funeral will be held, 
with the interment in Elmwood Cemetery, that city.
Mr. Smith also leaves two sons, Mr. A. Sidney Smith, of Edenton, N.C., and 
William W. Smith of Norfolk.
